Romane Prunières is an artist based in Marseille. Through her sculptures, jewelry, and archival research, she investigates objects charged with violence and their complex relationships to the body. Her work explores themes of bodily augmentation, cybernetic hybridity, gender, and memory. She envisions fragmented, futuristic bodies—where flesh merges with technology and altered skeletons become relics of a posthuman future, suspended in a paradoxical coexistence of power and vulnerability.
